Paestum, built by the Greeks in the sixth century and called Poseidonia, is an unique masterpiece.

Tourists can visit sites such as the Temple of Atena, located on the highest point of the city. There are two other beautiful temples: Hera, the most ancient and Neptune, the biggest. The National archeological museum of Paestum also deserves a visit, with its enormous amount of ancient finds.
